At the International Authority for Professional Coaching & Mentoring (IAPC&M), we are deeply committed to promoting diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging (DEIB) within our organisation and across the broader coaching and mentoring community. We believe that our strength lies in our diversity, and we are dedicated to creating an inclusive environment.

This statement reflects our values both within our organisation and in our work with professional coaches, mentors and training providers globally.

All IAPC&M professionals, including coaches, mentors, and training providers, are expected to uphold the principles outlined in this statement.

We commit to reviewing our DEIB approach regularly and welcome ongoing dialogue to ensure our practices remain relevant, inclusive, and aligned with our shared values.

Encouraging Diversity

We strive to create a working community that reflects the diverse range of coaches, mentors and training providers we serve. This includes embracing and valuing diversity in all its forms, including—but not limited to—age, disability, neurodiversity, gender identity, partnership, family and relationship structures, pregnancy and maternity, race, ethnicity, religion or belief, sex, sexual orientation, and lived experiences.

Promoting Equity

We acknowledge that individuals have different needs and circumstances, and we are committed to taking steps that ensure fair access and equitable outcomes. We uphold fairness and impartiality in all our practices, ensuring that everyone has equal opportunities for growth and success.

We are equally committed to providing a safe and respectful environment where individuals feel confident to raise concerns without fear of unfair treatment or retaliation, knowing they will be taken seriously and handled appropriately.

By upholding these principles, we strive to build a positive, inclusive culture where everyone can thrive and reach their full potential. This includes addressing systemic barriers and biases that may disadvantage certain groups, such as unequal access to training, mentorship, or recognition.

Embracing Inclusion & Belonging

We are dedicated to cultivating an environment where every individual feels valued, respected, and a genuine sense of belonging. We empower everyone to contribute their unique perspectives and talents. This includes creating a community where bullying, harassment, victimisation, and all forms of discrimination have no place, will not be tolerated, and will be handled in accordance with relevant IAPC&M policies and procedures.
