“One is never afraid of the unknown; one is afraid of the known coming to an end.”
Wise words from Jiddu Krishnamurti, the Indian philosopher, speaker, writer and New World Teacher
Firstly, all of us at the IAPC&M hope that you and yours are still well and safe. I’m pleased to report we are and being a virtual business, you can rely on our services as usual.
However, the current health challenge means the world we live in, and the way we do business is changing. True, change and uncertainty can be stressful. It can also be incredibly positive and uplifting, and there are wonderful examples of people and cultures who have been strengthened as a result of a crisis.
So, whilst many of you may find that the way you need to do business now, and in the future, will change. You can rely on us to help you rise to that challenge.
‘Relationships’ are the foundation of our business; it is one of our most important values. Therefore, you will continue to find us available; you will also continue to see our articles; invites to useful CPD and business building webinars, and you will continue to experience an enhanced members area with growing access to valuable documentation and resources. Finally, you can benefit from our professional coaching, mentoring and supervision, all of which will be offered freely as necessary, while the pandemic exists.
The expression ‘together we are stronger’ has never been more appropriate. You are invited to use your global community, now more than ever, to practice unity, support and compassion for what everyone is going through.
Use our social media platforms for good: stay connected; share your experiences, show solidarity; keep up your confidence and skills, and if you need help, ask.
Dawn and I will be hosting an informal chat over a cup of tea/coffee (or in Dawn’s case a super green smoothie) on Thurs. 26th Mar. @ 1 pm on Zoom. This is simply an opportunity for you to chat openly with like-minded professionals about what matters most to you right now.
As a global community, this time won’t work for everyone, so if you need to talk, contact us to arrange a 1-2-1.
Finally, I cannot stress enough the importance for you to stay safe, remain positive, and know that you are not alone – your clients need you now more than ever!
