Routes to Accreditation - Training Providers
One of the core purposes of the International Authority for Professional Coaching & Mentoring is the provision of accreditation to enable training providers to demonstrate the highest levels of professional standards in the industry.
This is of vital importance to us as it underpins two of our why statements, in that:
- We believe that everyone has the right to be protected from non-accredited coaches, mentors and training providers
- We believe that every coach, mentor and coach/mentor training provider must be accredited in order to practice
In being able to demonstrate the highest levels of professional standards in the industry, our accredited members support us in building trust in the coaching and mentoring profession for the benefit of everyone.
Levels of Training Provider Course Accreditation
We offer five levels of training provider course accreditation. Our levels have been compared to a number of qualification frameworks and are representative of the vocational requirements suggested at each respective level.
The level that you choose to apply for is reflective of a number of factors based upon the outcomes a participant can expect, including:
- The length of your course (length does not indicate degree of difficulty)
- The depth of learning involved and the intellectual demand (from novices to experienced practitioners)
We do not offer qualifications and we do not specify what your course title should be. Rather we work to support you in gaining accreditation for your course.
Having your course accredited by the International Authority for Professional Coaching & Mentoring indicates, to anyone who wishes to become a practitioner or enhance their skills and knowledge, that you are consistently demonstrating and providing the highest levels of professional standards in the industry.
